How it began I had an enquiry from Carly at Hidden events she explained what Callum and Sophie were looking for in a ceremony The plan was to meet at Henlle Hall I felt like I was going on a first date.

I sat nervously waiting to meet them to see if I was the kind celebrant they wanted I felt like I was on a first date! I really needn’t have worried

We met for coffee at Henlle hall and I knew as soon as I met them, I knew I wanted to marry them we chatted we laughed it was easy. Just how it should be.

I will always be my authentic self I couldn’t be fake if I tried!

Got to say Henlle hall …. What a place too!

Plans got underway, semi traditional not soppy or a ceremony that drags on!

20 minutes was mentioned, we threw lots of ideas in the pot!

Script written the night came to have the read through there was real emotion and giggles, a perfect reaction. I had to break it to them it was 24 minutes!!

They didn’t even notice as it just flowed.

Hencote an amazing Shropshire venue with its own vineyard yep you heard the right a vineyard.

Plan A was to have the ceremony outside with an unspoiled view of the rolling Shropshire hills in the background.

The weather was on point not too hot not too breezy and no rain yayyy, no need to go to plan B, phew!

Seating was planned to perfection with the right number of seats in the most perfect crescent [ Drone footage] evidence!

Callum had specifically wanted pretty green eyes for their ceremony no reason just liked the song. Rob aka “Piano Hedgehog” blended the two songs, the bridesmaids arrived to Yiruma river flows blended perfectly into pretty green eyes as Sophie and Phil began their walk to the aisle music it was seamless.

First to walk, was two-year-old flower girl Olivia, totally unfazed managed to scatter all her petals before getting to the aisle, just made her more adorable. Followed Closely by Kate, Freya, Alex.

The music was on point for Sophie’s big entrance. She looked absolutely stunning, and her dad Phil couldn’t have been prouder. You could just see the pride written all over his face!

Callum WAS not going to cry ha he failed!

Unplugged was the order of the day, however having a few insta crazy friends we though we wouldn’t be too mean, Express photo shoot it is

So, I suggested that the congregations whip their phones out and Callum and Sophie fully papped it up, we even a cheeky selfie with the best man. It was so much fun it really relaxed everyone, including Callum and Sophie.

Sophie and Callum are beautiful people they are really easy going, chilled and a little bit daft and this came through in the ceremony.

Their vows, wow they were totally epic They really nailed it with heartfelt promises that had everyone feeling the love. Callum’s love of cheese did also get a mention.

They kept their vows from each other until the day. They were shared with me [ I have their words printed on to cards as a keepsake] being privy to see their vows ensures they complement each other and that they have the perfect balance.

There was wit and sentiment and great interaction from everyone, the ceremony set the tone for their perfect day.

No gobby friend available to MC so I offered my gobbiness!

It was great fun, nerve wracking but fun.

Hencote has so many layers there is an amazing lower terrace for drinks with Mr Piano hedgehog playing the piano, bubbly was flowing it was buzzing.

Being part of their day was “shamazing” Callum even gave me a mention in his speech, which was very unexpected and really melted my heart.

I love the way these two look at each other their sentiment, cheesiness, and the banter, well it’s just lovely.
